Much needed getaway with the pledge bros
Scrolling through my dash, the only posts are just from pages I follow, no one I actually know. Does anyone still use this thing??
High school seemed like ages ago and it’s been a fucking trip… Some random thoughts
-I love adding new contacts to my phone. It’s nice to meet new people and make connections.
-I remember late nights studying in high school and talking to people on AIM and Gchat and shit… having deep conversations once in a while and thinking man I’m not even gonna get the 3 or 4 hours of sleep I was gonna get now cause I was talking to this person, but whatever it’s worth it. LOL were all high schoolers this sentimental? I feel like the age of instant chat (at least in my world) has died. I don’t feel like I have the luxury (or desire really…) to just sit at my computer and chat with someone online. Maybe it’s cause I’ve found such a tight niche at Berkeley and think I have everyone I want close enough. Kinda sad to think about how I’ve grown out of that, I did used to have some good late night conversations. Now it’s just work til I drop.
-Seriously nothing lasts. Things you’ll never experience again: high school, senior year, second semester senior year, first rush week in college, first few months of newly crossed “fuck it I’m a lambda” mentality (trust me none of yall social, business, premed, whatever the fuck frats/sororities are happier than a beaten down, mentally destroyed, tired, hungry, miserable lambda pledge that just crossed), etc. Enjoy life! Don’t argue with people it’s a waste of time!
Anyways scrolling through my dashboard was nice. Hope to be on Tumblr some more this semester.
Finals week? Winter break? Who cares. Rise & Grind everybody. Next drop coming real soon
The turnout for this jam was pretty good, and vibe was fantastic. Always love these Bay Area jams with the 18 and under events, especially at the YMCA. A1 Crew (minus Tek this time unfortunately) always does it right.
Seeing the new heads coming out and competing in the 18 and under competitions…
A pair of Wisconsin parents took a decidedly modern approach toward punishing their daughter when she misbehaved recently: They confiscated her phone and used it to take several photos of themselves doing silly faces, which they subsequently uploaded to her Facebook page.
The best, worst parents ever.
It’s October 10th, National Day of Taiwan!!!
